La Playa Beach & Golf Resort, a Noble House Resort

At the end of July we returned from a 20 night vacation at La Playa in Naples. We only originally booked for 6 nights, but we absolutely fell in love. The charm, facilities and location. The hotel is not so large that we got to know people and staff and felt part of the place. Our memorable and remarkable holiday was made possible by a number of members of staff: 1. Claude - his smile was infectious every day and I always enjoyed chatting with him. 2. Michael - Front desk, thoroughly professional and I always enjoyed chatting with him. 3. Vinny - Tiki Bar. He always had a smile and his service was of a very high standard. 4. Nik, Reception Manager - highest level of service. He made us feel a valued customer and he was a very interesting person to chat to. 5. Diane - Concierge. Very personable and gave us some fantastic recommendation for both lunch and dinner. The last person absolutely made our holiday. Currently the hotel is not perfect, it is still getting over the back to back hurricanes and for a five star hotel there are areas that should be looked at. But, one person truly made our holiday, Wenderson the reception manager. I cannot speak highly enough of him. I work in the service industry myself, and I am aware of how difficult is is to be at the top of your game all of the time. This gentleman is exceptional, he was polite, friendly, extremely efficient, but most of all he listened to the customers, and I truly believe he wanted them to have a special time. He went to great lengths to make this happen for us. I hope Noble House know how lucky they are to have him in their business. He’s certainly is a credit to them. Just a small mention of the actual facilities at the hotel. It you are wanting ocean view rooms, this hotel it literally on Vanderbilt beach. The pool area is stunning, you have a choice of four pools, with a Tiki bar and a very good restaurant on site Baleen, You really do have everything you could want, lastly my daughter loved the fire pits for toasting marshmallows. Thank you to all the staff at La Playa for our amazing vacation, and we look forward to seeing you all again next summer. My wife wants to come for Christmas! We may see you sooner than you think! The staff is exceptional! Nick front desk manager is amazing! The beach crew is outstanding and the wait staff is excellent! A special shout out to Ana, massage therapist, she helped me so much with my back pain. Thank you La playa!

Amazing staff and beach location with nice pools and restaurant. However ocean suite room was a disaster and unsafe. No cold water in room for all 6 days despite notifying front desk each day. Scalding hot water socpuld only wash hair briefly before burning. Had to use pool to wash off. AC in living room had to be down to 56 degrees to filter to bedroom where room struggled to get down to 75 degrees as unit in bedroom didnt woek. Engineering came to room severaltimes and could not fix. They tool off 1 night which was a joke. Wpuld not move our room. Never have I seen no cold water that could not be fixed. Very disappointed paying $900 night and not having proper shower and sink and no AC in the heat of Florida summer. Front desk staff was understanding but management fell way short.

Always an amazing time! We had the chance to experience so much incredible sea life during our stay—right from the property! A huge thank you to all the staff for being so accommodating and truly making us feel like family. A special shoutout to: Billy, Mo, Daniela, Karriane, Nydia, Sanjuana, Michael, Clark, Wendell, Rob, Marley, Vinny, Yussef, Sam, Samantha, and Vinny (yes, twice—you really made an impression!). The entire staff and team you are all amazing and I hope you will continue on. Georgina, you will always be family to us :) Can’t wait to come back! ＜3

On our 5 day stay… Claude helped up with our bags and was very kind. Samantha helped us check-in and was very sweet and helpful. Pierre helped us clean some broken glass we found in our room and was very kind, he kept checking and re-checking the floor and made sure the floor was spotless. You can tell he does what he does with love. Samantha our server at the beach was very kind as well and was being so cute with our baby. Aaron helped us check out and was very helpful. Wenderson was the manager that helped us when we found broken glass on the floor of our room. - he offered to move us to another room (but I denied because I had already fully unpacked), so he offered us free breakfast at Baleen downstairs - which was amazing. Very accommodating and kind. I’ve been on many vacations and I’ve never been so relaxed. The beach is the best part - and the way the gentlemen working there set up chairs/umbrellas/ towels for you. Very convenient. Same at the pool. All the staff there were amazing. I would definitely go again!
